I was an Early Years teacher and leader in West Yorkshire for many years before taking early retirement to support my husband Dave as the Vicar here in Upper Wensleydale in 2016. I am passionate about children and their full development as individuals. I have enjoyed being a volunteer in Hawes school for the past 6 years teaching singing and joint community work with school and the church. I am honoured to be a governor and take the role seriously for the best outcome for all of our children in the running of the school.
