Hawes Primary School is part of Yorkshire Collaborative Academy Trust, a multi Academy Trust for pupils from 4-11 years.
Academies are their own admission authority and admissions to Hawes Primary School are co-ordinated by North Yorkshire Local Authority on behalf of the school.
Information on Admissions
Our admission limit for 2026/27 is 15. We usually admit children who are 5 at the beginning of the Autumn Term each September. However children moving to the area may be admitted at other times during the school year. We provide nursery places for 3 and 4 year olds. These 3 hour sessions are offered 5 mornings a week in Class 1. Parents may have five free sessions a week from the autumn term following their child’s third birthday. Pupils entering school for the first time are given a personalised and sensitive induction programme in the Foundation class to ensure we meet each child’s needs.
