General Teaching Assistant
Grade: C Scale Point 3-4 GTA
Salary: Starting salary of £13.28 per hour Pro Rata £9,350
Vacancy Hours: 15.75 per week (over three days-Monday, Tuesday and Friday)
Contract type: 1-year Fixed Term, Term Time only (includes training days)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant (GTA) to join our warm and welcoming primary school team. This role involves working across the school, from Nursery through to Year 6, supporting children in their learning and development. You will play a key role in helping children to access the curriculum, build confidence, and thrive both academically and emotionally. The successful candidates will be an integral part of the staff team with a passion for helping every child reach their potential. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate kindness, care and patience, have a good sense of humour and be an excellent communicator.
